Grandpa Paul...Happy 75th

Happy Birthday to Grandpa Paul... He turned 75! We all headed up to Tremonton to celebrate with him. It was lots of fun to see all the family and cousins & all our Pets. Camry and Brody enjoyed going for a road trip with us as well, and playing with all the kids and other pups. We all had fun sharing time with Paul. He is such a sweetheart. He sure does love his grandkids so much!

Baby Shower Pictures...

These outfits were picked out stratigically too, They are all jungle animals which are all part of her nursery decor...

Homemade SOFT SOFT blankets, They are adorable, and if you look closely the brown and blue has the giraffe stitched into it.

Then with the left over material from the blankets we made burp rags...

Then I did a diaper cake, with a giraffe plush topper with little baby goodies around the cake...

Happy 50th DAD....

My dad turned the BIG 50 this year!! So we threw him a surprise party!!! Here he is lounging with his decor after a Day of Golfing with Dustin and Josh... That's how we got him over, he was clueless! He was SOOO Shocked, I loved it!

Ok, So here is a picture, this is the newest.... Still have a long ways to go but you can sorta see the improvement in my face. lol

It's been such an amazing, yet HARD journey! I am feeling so much better about myself!! It's such a good thing, and I have to keep pushing on, 50 more here we come!! :)

Bathroom Remodel....

We decided we wanted to tile our bathrooms since we had linoleum flooring. We ended up picking out some brown marble. We had the help of my dad and mom on the first one, but did the second on our own, man It was so much work, but so worth it, the finished product ended up looking good!!!

Busy Bee......

So this past week was as busy as I think I could be! We started to put marble flooring into our bathrooms a few weeks ago, and that's when we got sick, so they sat with the finishing details being undone, but Saturday June 20th was a big party day at my house so I had to finish them, along with all the other things I needed to do to prepare. So this week I felt like I was going 50 different directions. We finished the tiling, touched up paint in the bathrooms... Then had to move onto the party planning...
I was throwing a baby shower for Megan, it was soooo much fun! I love doing the baby stuff and party planning. I had a blast. I made her this adorable diaper cake, and then we made her a couple different blankets(that we didn't do in a weeks worth of time though) then with the left over material made some burp cloths... SOO CUTE, and we did much much more, Her nursery theme is a jungle, So the baby shower them I picked to be the giraffe... It turned out to be adorable, I will have to post pictures when i can get them off the camera. But I can't wait to meet my little nephew (mason) and hold him!
Then, After the baby shower came party #2, My daddy turned the big 50 this year! And so I threw him a surprise birthday party! It was awesome! He had NO clue what so ever!! It worked out perfectly! It was such a blast, and I love him so much!!
But, now that this week is over, I am pretty exhausted! But I need to get back on track with Dieting and exercise... Cause I blew it this weekend.
But In March I decided that I was going to get my BUTT in gear and lose some of this disgusting weight that I have put on! And so, I have pushing myself, and so far I have lost 48 pounds. I want to lose another 40! Then I will be SOOO happy! It sure feels good, and I wonder how I ever got to where I was! But I want to get health so that some day I will be able to have a healthy pregnancy and baby, and then be a healthy mother that can keep up with her little one. So I am really happy with my results and will keep pushing on cause I have a LONG way to go!

But That's pretty much what's been going on in a nutshell...Hope all is well! Love ya all!

JUNE!?!?!? It flies

Wow, Time is flying by so fast it is pretty crazy!! It went from May to June it feels like in a day! Well Dustin and I have both been fighting being sick! It like one of us gets sick then the other, and then we pass it back and forth... So I think that FINALLY we are both feeling better! My brother Josh and Dustin both came down with being sick at the exact same day, and Josh ended up testing positive for the SWINE flu! Scary!! So with Dustin being sick and I following a few days later we ran in to get tested also, And NO Swine flu for us! But they put us on antibiotics since we had been around someone who had it. But the good news is that Josh is better, and Meg & Mason(the baby in her belly) never caught it! And even though Dust & I were sick we lucked out and didn't come down with it!!!

And we are finally feeling better! And If we get anything else I will freak! lol, I swear I have been sick every month so far this year! Grrr...
